    Current Thoughts: I'm currently on the "emotional rollercoaster" phase of the waiting game. There's still stiffness when I smile or laugh, and it can be hard seeing a "new me" in the mirror that doesn't feel natural yet. However, the swelling is dropping daily and the scarring is fading well with silicone gel. Overall, I'm really happy with my results and can't wait to see the 6 month and 1 year mark.     Overall, I thought that Dr. Shim did a great job. You can barely even see any scars from the surgery because they are all in my hairline or behind my ears. The lift was relatively even and symmetrical. The suturing was so fine, and I can't thank him enough. It's really the effect that I was looking for! I was just looking for a naturally younger appearance, and now the surgery has defined my jawline/neck a lot, and the eyebags are gone. I still feel like me and I'm still recognizable to people who knew me, but I just feel like it took off 15-20 years.
