    Anyway, I am really really happy with my result! Since I was in Korea for an extended period this time around I was able to visit a few other clinics (visits for various non-invasive treatments AND post-op care visits for work I had done on previous trips lol), and some of them were able to see me both before and after my nose job, and 3 of the doctors made comments about how much my new nose improves my face hahah. Happy to answer any questions!

    1 year update (1/2026): Need DES revision + functional rhinoplasty. Overall not happy with the results. Swelling in my eyes resolved ~3 mo post-op. Eyelids still feel heavy and appear droopy, and visually my eyes look mostly the same as pre-op despite having ptosis correction, upper blepharoplasty, and partial fat removal. Main diff is that my right eye now has a double eyelid instead of a monolid, which I'm happy about, but the eyelid skin still droops over in the same way, so the original concern of sagginess is unresolved.     2 weeks in: I'm still bruised up and swollen. My face does seem thinner, slightly gaunt even. My scalp is completely numb, but this seems normal as per my research, I hope the sensation returns over time. My eyes are definitely bigger, I technically didn't do any eyelid related surgeries so the result isn't as dramatic as I would have liked. Nose looks bad in its current state due to the swelling, it kinda looks like a pig's nose. I have faith it'll improve in time, so I shan't be impatient.

    I've attached my before photos and after. The after photos were taken 11 days postop so I'm still very swollen but like my results so far. Especially more refined my tip is. Overall so far: • Communication: 9/10 • Professionalism: 9/10 • Bedside manner: Calm and reassuring • Transparency: Good I'll update with long-term results once swelling subsides. I'm 3 weeks post-op and love my nose already. The swelling has definitely gone down a bunch since then, but is still healing and can't wait to see the final result in about 6 months

    I was scared my nose tip wouldn't be high enough when it was in a cast but once they took it off, I'm already obsessed with my nose knowing the tip will drop a bit and the swelling will go down to make my bridge/tip slightly less projected! I think that he did the perfect amount of dolly and natural. I wanted an in-between without a pinched Barbie nose and he definitely delivered. I'm only 12 days post-op so I won't know how it looks until fully healed but I can only imagine it'll continue to look even better! My nostrils are uneven but the retainer should help with that!     The nose looks great. I'm happy with it so far. I'm not going to talk about the nose because like Kevin said, there is no way to make judgements on it now since it takes around 6 months for the nose to be complete. Its still swollen especially since they had to touch bone. This is so far my step-by-step experience with getting rhinoplasty in South Korea. In my case, with Miho plastic surgery. Today, which is my 7th day in South Korea. I could technically go on a plane and fly back to the states since I have gotten all the stitches taken out. The rest will fall out on its own.     Results and Reflection Approximately three weeks post-surgery and back in my home country, I'm thrilled with the results. There's still some swelling in my cheeks where the buccal fat was removed, but otherwise, I look normal.
